Guests are always welcome to attend FREE of charge and without obligation but are not usually given a meeting role.

New Toastmasters who join us get the fabulous Competent Communicator speech manual and the Competent Leader manual, which concentrates on evaluations and leadership. There is a one-off £15 charge for this.

All members get the monthly Toastmaster magazine, which is so packed with articles on speaking that I never manage to finish it before the next magazine arrives!

We submit fees to Toastmasters International every 6 months, so the fees you pay depend on when you join in each 6 month cycle (end of March and end of September every year). It costs £36* for 6 months membership. And everyone who turns up gets a free tea or coffee and sometimes even a biscuit. If you join during the 6 month cycle, your payment is reduced pro rata. £6/ month is probably the cheapest self-development course around! Or, you can pay £67 for 12 months membership saving £5.

* For existing Toastmaster: £36 in September and in March. For new joinee: £6 per month for the number of months until 1st October or 1st April, whichever is earlier PLUS £15 for Starter Pack which includes the Competent Communicator and the Competent Leadership manuals. For example if someone joins from 1st Jan, the amount will be £6 x 3 months (Jan, Feb & March) = £18 + £15 = £33
