Harrovians Speakers' Club is a local branch of
Toastmasters International. We help you develop speaking, listening, evaluation and leadership skills in a supportive environment.
We meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Monday evenings of the month at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. We start with ~6 "table topics" i.e. unprepared mini-speeches of ~90 seconds. After a tea break, we enjoy 3-4 prepared speeches with evaluations and conclude with a "General Evaluation" of the evaluators. We finish around 9:40pm.

organisers, the club participants in the way they encouraged and supported the
speakers and guests."

Congratulations to Alan McMahon and Warren Sheng for winning the best evaluator and speaker award at our Speech Contest on 15-Mar. They go on to the Area Contest in Ware, Herts on Sunday 11th April. Thank you for all who helped out from Timekeepers to Judges. Special thanks to Robert and Nathan who set up the room in advance. We had a record 31 people attending.
Our next meetings are on Monday, 29th March and TUESDAY 6th April (as 5th April is Easter Monday) at Glebe Hall,
Glebe Road, Stanmore, Middlesex HA7
(free evening parking nearby), 200m from Sainsburys, The
Broadway. The entrance is a wooden hut door on Glebe Road, next to "Smile", a dentist. Search for "Glebe Road,Stanmore, Middlesex HA7" in maps.google.com to find the exact location.
